Kobben North East (Ajan)

Kobben North East is quite a big wreck that is found on the North-West side of Ankargrundet. She is broken into pieces with her biggest part measuring 31 x 6 meters. Other parts are about 15 x 6 meters, 19 x 5 meters, 6 x 4 meters and 3 x 6 meters.

She is assumed to be the wreck of a park ship called Ajan that sunk on November 24th 1890. At the time she was weighted and on her way towards Lappvik. Her home port was Lemland in Åland.

Max depth 11m. You will find lots of critters on the bottom, and witness probably many fish from the family scorpidae.
